After I disable Tapita image alt optimization, will my old image alt come back?
Please notice the checkbox "Replace all existing data" located below the Alt Template:
If you check this box and then enable the feature, Tapita will replace all of your existing image alt texts. This action is irreversible, meaning that if you later disable Tapita image alt optimization, your previous image alt texts will be lost and cannot be recovered.
If you want the image alt texts already set in your Shopify Admin to remain unchanged, simply leave the checkbox unchecked.
