Create a Shopify Section (old version)

In this article, you will learn how to create a Section that can be used in your Shopify pages using Shopify Theme Customizer. Like this:

If your Shopify theme doesn't support adding sections (there is no "Add section" (+) button), then you cannot use Tapita Sections feature.

Step 1: Create a Section in Tapita

On Tapita left menu, click View more > Sections.

Click Add New to create a new section. You can select one of Tapita templates or select "Blank" to create a new section from scratch.

On the builder page, you can edit the current template or add new elements as you want.

After you've done, go to Page Settings to change your section name, select Publish and click Save and Publish.

After you've published your section, please wait for about 1-2 minutes before doing the next step.

Step 2: Add the published section into Shopify pages

Now, your published Section are ready to be added into any Shopify pages.

In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes > Customize.

Then, select the page(s) that you want to add this section into.

In the page customizer, click the Add section (+) button on the page or on the left menu.

You will find your newly-created section here, with the text "Tapita_S - " at the start. Click on it to add it into the page.

You can only add a section once for every page. Duplicated sections will not be shown.

Finally, click Save. And that's it!
