How to Create a Multi-Option Product Group

How to Create a Multi-Option Product Group

In previous articles, you’ve learned how to group products based on a single option (color, size, etc.). But what if you want to group products based on multiple options? This article will guide you through simple steps to create a multi-option product group.

1. Access the Multiple Options Group Interface

From the product group management page, click on Create group and select Manual – Multiple Options.

The interface for creating a multi-option group appears as shown below:

Here, you can define various options to group by color, size, brand, and more. You can also determine the option values.

2. Define Options and Option Values for Grouping Products

Enter the details for each option (a minimum of two options is required), including the following information:

  • Option Name

  • Appearance on Product page, Appearance on Product card

  • Option Values

Refer to the sample settings below:

3. Select Products to Add to the Group

Once you’ve entered the details for each option and option value, the values will mix to create different combinations. You can click the + sign for each combination to select the product that matches it. Combinations without a selected product will display as unavailable or out of stock on the storefront.

4. Review and Publish the Group

Review the information you’ve entered and preview the product group interface. If everything looks correct, publish the group and verify it on your storefront.
