How to Import & Export Product Groups


Introduction

Product groups help organize products efficiently within the app. There are several scenarios where importing and exporting product groups can be helpful:

  • Exporting groups to a CSV file for easier data management and editing.

  • Transferring product groups from one store to another.

  • Integrating product groups with third-party platforms.

  • Importing product groups for bulk creation and quick setup.

  • Automating product group management processes.

How to Export Product Groups

Exporting product groups allows you to back up your data or migrate it to another platform. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Product Group Management page.

  2. Locate the Export button at the top right corner.


  1. Click Export and wait for the process to complete.

  2. The system will generate a CSV file containing all product groups.

  3. Once ready, the file will be available for download.


How to Import Product Groups

Importing product groups can be useful when setting up a new store or updating existing data. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Go to the Product Group Management page.

  2. Click the Import button located at the top right.

  3. A modal window will appear with import options.

Steps to Import:

  1. Prepare a CSV File: Use the sample CSV template or export an existing file for reference.

  2. Fill in Required Fields: Ensure all necessary information is correctly entered. A detailed document describing all required fields and the expected content is available for reference. View the document.

  3. Upload the File: Select and upload the CSV file.

  4. Publish after import: Choose whether to publish the imported groups immediately or review them first.


  1. Click Import: Start the import process and wait for confirmation.
