How to import/export Tapita pages

Tapita Page Builder allows you to export your pages into a file and then use that file to import to another page. This is an easy way to copy and paste your pages between different page types (Landing Page, Blog, etc.) and between different Shopify stores.

Export your page

You should export from a Published page to be able to import into another page.

To export your page, go to your Page Settings > Import/Export and click Export button.



Your export file will be ready in an instant. Click Download to save your export file (.json) into your computer.



Now you can use this file to import into any other pages.

Import your page

To import your page, go to Page Settings > Import/Export and click Import button.



Then, select your export file (.json). Click Start Import.


Note for Images: the images in the imported file is linked to the original page (the page you exported the file from). If you change or delete the image on your original page, the same image on the imported page will also be changed or deleted accordingly. So, you may want to reupload the images on the imported page to make sure they won't be affected by the original page.

If your export file is from a Draft (unpublished) page, you will see the following error:
