How to revert/recover your Shopify homepage as before Tapita installation

There will be cases where you want to remove the homepage built with Tapita and revert back to your old Shopify homepage. Please follow this tutorial to do that.

From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit code.

From the search bar, type “index“. Click on the index.liquid or index.json file that comes up under Templates and click Delete file.

You will notice that there is another “index” file containing “.tapitabk.old”. Rename this file to remove the “.tapitabk.old” part.

Done!
