Real User Monitoring Report (RUM) Guideline
It will be assumed that you are a Tapita Basic account. Let’s roll down and read each feature in detail one by one.
This report provides insights into real-world user experiences regarding website performance. It allows you to track daily performance metrics and take appropriate actions based on the findings.
The metrics in this report are more widely known as the "Core Web Vitals" including:
Cumulative Layout Shift - CLS: measures the visual stability of a page as it loads (Ahrefs, 2024).
Largest Contentful Paint - LCP: is the amount of time it takes to load the single largest visible element in the viewport. It represents the website being visually loaded (Ahrefs, 2024).
Interaction to Next Paint - INP: measures how quickly a website responds to user interactions (Ahrefs, 2024).
The data in each metric is usually set in the last 28 days, and you can modify the time by choosing Access Real User Monitoring Dashboard.
The Dashboard will give you an overview of a line chart (Visual stability, loading speed, interactivity). Moreover, you can modify the elements such as Total views( Hide/show), Time range, Percentile, and Device.
To see the events affecting your store performance for the last 90 days, you can look at the bottom table in the RUM Dashboard. It will show you the details of editing events influencing your website performance.
