Customizing the Slideshow Section

Slideshow Section Overview

In Shopify stores, slideshow sections are often used to showcase multiple products, promotions, or key messages in a visually engaging format. Tapita's Slideshow Section offers a sleek, interactive design to display these visuals and enhance engagement through smooth transitions and customizable content that aligns with your brand’s messaging.

With Tapita's Slideshow Section, you can:
  1. Use Smooth Transitions: Present multiple slides with seamless transitions to maintain visitor interest.
  2. Utilize Full Customization: Adjust background colors, text, and images to match your brand’s style and objectives.
  3. Show a Full-Width Display: Maximize visual impact with a full-width slideshow that draws attention.
  4. Offer a Mobile-Responsive View: Optimize the slideshow for all devices, ensuring it maintains its effectiveness across desktops, tablets, and mobiles.
  5. Provide Interactive Features: Add clickable buttons or links to direct users to specific products or promotions within the slideshow.

Slideshow Section Customization

For instructions on how to add a slideshow section to your store, please refer to the Getting Started guide for Tapita Theme Sections Builder.
After adding your desired Slideshow Section to your store, you can customize its content as follows within the Shopify Theme Editor:

Step 1: Under the Slideshow section, click "Add slide."

Step 2: Customize the slide settings:
  1. Image:
    1. Desktop Image: Select an image for the desktop version of the slide.
    2. Mobile Image: Select an image for the mobile version of the slide.
    3. Preload Image: Enable to preload the image so that it appears when the page loads. Disable if it does not.
  2. Information:
    1. Position: Choose the position of the text content (Left, Right, Center).
    2. Heading: Insert the heading text for the slide.
    3. Description: Insert the description text for the slide.

  1. Button:
    1. Button Label: Insert the text for the button.
    2. Button Link: Insert the URL for the button.
    3. Use Outline Button Style: Enable to use an outline style for the button. Disable to use a solid button style.

You can configure the slideshow section as follows:
  1. Click on the slideshow section
  2. Configure the section body
    1. Item Background Color: Enter the hexadecimal color code for the background of the slide
    2. Opacity: Adjust the opacity of the item background color.
    3. Desktop Image Ratio: Select the desired aspect ratio for images on desktop devices.
    4. Mobile Image Ratio: Select the desired aspect ratio for images on mobile devices.
    5. Border Radius: Setting the border radius
    6. Show Nav: Enable to display navigation arrows for browsing through slides. Disable to hide the arrows.
    7. Show Pagination: Enable to display pagination dots to indicate the number of slides. Disable to hide the dots.
    8. Loop: Enable to have the slideshow loop back to the beginning after reaching the end. Disable to stop at the last slide.
    9. Effect: Choose transition effect (Slide/Fade/Flip)
    10. Auto Play: Enable to have the slideshow play automatically. Disable for manual navigation.
    11. Delay: Adjust the time for the slideshow to be displayed
  1. Configure the section layout
    1. Background image: Choose a background image for the section (if desired).
    2. Section Full Width: Toggle this setting to make the section span the full width of the screen. If disabled, customize the size at "Section max width."
    3. Content Full Width: Toggle this setting to make the content within the section span its full width. If disabled, customize the size at "Content max width."
    4. Padding and Margin: Adjust the padding and margin for the section on mobile, desktop, and tablet screens to control spacing.
  1. Configure the section color
    1. Background: Choose a color for the section background.
    2. Background Gradient: Set a background gradient. This allows you to create a subtle color transition in the background instead of a solid color.
    3. Foreground: Choose a color for the foreground elements.
    4. Title: Choose a color for titles.
    5. Button Background: Choose a color for button backgrounds. This determines the background color of any buttons within the section.
    6. Button Text: Choose a color for button text. This sets the color of the text displayed on the button.
    7. Outline Button: Choose a color for outline button. This sets the color of the outline of the button.
    8. Input, button radius: Set border radius for input and button elements.
  2. Configure the section optimize
    1. Lazy Load Speed: The section will only load when it is scrolled to on the page, improving initial page load times.
