In this article, you will learn how to create a simple page with Tapita's key features and tools.

Step 1: Install the Tapita page builder

If you already installed the app, skip this step and move to the next one.

Visit the Tapita page on Shopify App Store, click the Add App button and fill in your store’s URL to install the app to your Shopify store.

In the Shopify admin sidebar, click Apps > Tapita Landing Page Builder. After that, you will be redirected to the Tapita Dashboard on a different page.

Step 2: Understand the dashboard

1. Page reports	Showing the number of your page by page types according to your plan and how you use them: Draft or Published
2. Recent Build	Pages that you built with Tapita

Select a theme to work on:  Select a theme that Tapita pages will be published on.

Step 3: Create a new page

In the Page reports, choose the page type you want to create: Landing/Home Page or Blog Pages:

After choosing the page type, click in ADD NEW to be directed to the template select.

Choose the blank page to build your page, or the template that fixes your needs in the topic on the top horizontal tab, or scroll down to select one.

Step 4: Getting to know the key features

Here are some features in the Page Editor to help you understand how Tapita works:

1. Top bar	Access some paid features in this secion and also Save, Preview or Publish your page
2. Treeview	Treeview helps user manage section and element easier
3. Add Tapita Elements	Offers Tapita basic, pre-made and saved elements. Drag and drop them to a available section.
4. Treeview access	Quick button to access to treeview when you are in a edit.
5. Settings	Access the page setting and others customization options
6. FAQs	Quick access to Tapita FAQs to find available answers for your problems
7. Chat	Open the window to chat 24/5 with our human supporters.
8. Add new section

Step 5: Use Tapita Sections

First, click Add Sections. Select your first section whether it is a basic or pre-made section and edit it by 2 ways:

1. Section toolbar: Quickly take action on the section, including: move; duplicate; delete; copy style; paste style, create saved section
   
2. Section Configuration: Edit the settings and stylings of the section with 2 tabs: General and Style.
   

Step 6: Preview or publish the page

Once you’re done building the page, hit Save. This option saves the page to a database but does not make it public yet. You can see the page preview via Preview.

The Publish button both saves the page and makes it public. The page will link to your store with the address “your-shop-name.myshopify.com/pages/page-name

You can check the Tapita page in the Shopify database by going to Shopify home > Sales Channels > Online Store > Pages.
