How to Fix Common SEO Errors Found in SEO Audit

How to Fix Common SEO Errors Found in SEO Audit

The SEO Audit feature scans your store and flags issues that may affect your search rankings. This guide walks you through each error category shown in the audit results — Common errors and Other errors — and explains exactly how to fix them using the tools available in the app.

Understanding SEO Audit Result Categories

When you run an SEO Audit, each issue is grouped into one of three categories:

  1. Common errors — issues that most commonly affect SEO performance.
  2. Other errors — Issues affecting SEO that require technical expertise.
  3. Good — areas where your store is already meeting SEO best practices.

Common SEO errors & other errors

This guide focuses on resolving Common errors, as these have the most impact on how your store appears in search results.

Fixing Common Errors

Meta title, description issues include

  1. Missing meta titles: Your store contains pages lacking a meta title

  3. Too short meta titles:  Some pages’ meta title length is longer than 70 characters
  4. Missing meta descriptions: Your store contains pages lacking a meta description
  5. Too short meta description:  Some pages’ meta descriptions that are too short (under 70 characters)
  6. Too long meta description:  Some pages’ meta descriptions that are too long (over 160 characters).
  7. Duplicate meta titles / descriptions: Some pages’ meta titles /descriptions are identical

All these can be fixed using any of the following methods:

Option 1 — Quick Fix in SEO Audit

For each of the following, click the Fix button next to the error. The app will redirect you to go to the Schema configuration tab. Then you configure each schema and toggle the corresponding schema type to ON:

  1. Missing Product structured data — enable Tapita Product Schema
  2. Missing Organization structured data — enable Tapita Organization Schema
  3. Missing Site Name structured data — enable Tapita Site Name Schema
  4. Missing Article structured data — enable Tapita Article Schema

An LLMs.txt file helps AI-powered search engines (such as ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, and others) crawl and understand your store’s content. This is increasingly important as more users discover products through AI search.

First, click on the Fix button next to the error, you will be redirected to the LLMs.txt tab.

Follow Steps 1, 2, and 3 to configure and publish your LLMs.txt file.

👉 Check this guideline to know how to configure this feature.
