How to fix SEO error: Too long URLs

The "Too long URLs" error means your pages' URL is longer than 115 characters.

Why you should fix it

URLs shorter than 115 characters are easier to read by end users and search engines, and will work to keep the website user-friendly.

How to fix it

In your Shopify admin, go to the page that got this error.



Scroll down to the "Search engine listing" section and click Edit.



Edit the URL handle to make the page's URL to be shorter than 115 characters. Tip: you can use https://www.charactercountonline.com to count the URL's character length more easily.
